Good morning, FridayReaders! How was your week? The weekend and FridayReads are finally here. This week, if you answer our question at the bottom of the post, you could win a copy of BONOBO HANDSHAKE by Vanessa Woods! Woods followed her fiancé to the jungles of the Congo to study bonobos as a research assistant. When they realized that the bonobos reacted poorly to her fiancé, because he was a man, and were much more trusting of Woods, she became the principal researcher. Humans share 98.7% of our DNA with bonobos. As Woods said in one of the videos on her YouTube page, one of the main goals of her projects is to find which human traits come from chimpanzees, which traits come from bonobos and which traits are uniquely human. It sounds like a thrilling read and we’re very excited to give it away this week!

So tell us, what are you reading?
